Guarantee Policy<\/b><\/span><\/p>

To confirm a reservation at Hotel San Blas, a valid credit card is required. This guarantee ensures room availability until the established check-in time. For bookings made with debit or credit cards, a temporary hold may be placed for the estimated total amount, including taxes and additional charges. This hold may remain after check-out depending on the issuing bank\u2019s processing time.<\/span><\/p>

Cancellation Policy<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Standard reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before the arrival date (local hotel time). Cancellations made after this period will incur a charge equivalent to one night\u2019s stay, including applicable taxes and service fees.<\/span><\/p>

In the case of a no-show (guest does not arrive without prior notice), the same charge for the first night will apply, and the reservation will be automatically canceled from the following day.<\/span><\/p>

Promotional rates, special discounts, or prepaid bookings may be subject to different cancellation policies, which will be clearly detailed during the reservation process. Please read the specific terms carefully before confirming your stay.<\/span><\/p>

Tax and Service Charge Policy<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Published rates at Hotel San Blas include a 10% service charge and 18% General Sales Tax (IGV). However, under Peruvian tax regulations, non-resident foreigners who present their original passport with a valid entry stamp and the Andean Immigration Card may be exempt from paying the IGV during their stay.<\/span><\/p>

This exemption applies only if the reservation is made under the name of the foreign guest and payment is made directly by the guest, without invoicing to a Peruvian company. If the foreign guest requests an invoice in the name of a Peruvian business, the IGV will be mandatorily included in the rate.<\/span><\/p>

The 10% service charge is mandatory for all guests and covers general hotel services. It is not a tip for staff.<\/span><\/p>
